Did the usual oil change 2 days ago, and replaced the replaced Starter. I dont understand how my original starter got like 21 years out of it and with ALL the technological advances I get a replacement one from the big box store out of haste; YES Autism Zone.., (I know, I know.) and I barely get 4 years out of it ON top of the fact both times of replacement I had to go through the 3-ring circus of going back & forth because some asshat mis-boxed a manual starter with an automatic starter.. the Nose cones are completely different with engagement of flywheels or flex plates and NOT interchangeable ya asses!! (AutoZone generalization)
For once consistency but only in failures is not a strong suit to be proud of..
I use to get all my parts at Autozone or Advance Auto because they were a lot cheaper than NAPA,not anymore,I got tired of having to replace the same thing time after time. Now I only go there if NAPA or the Ford Dealer doesn't have it,yeah I'll go to the Ford Dealer even before them now.
