Here's what it looks like. You stick it on over the end like you would a bayonet, unload the ball you've got in the gun and single load a rifle grenade cartridge, which is a blank with more powder. The tube on the end is where the grenade is slid onto. SLiding it on to various degrees and holding it at various angles changes the distance at which it'll fly, reportedly anywhere from 50 to 200 yards. To prevent damage to the gas system with the massively increased pressure, there's a little peg sticking out. This goes into the gas plug (cross style). Inside these gas plugs, there's a spring loaded vent. With it mounted, the rest of the gas is simply vented so that the rifle doesn't bust itself cycling.
