Hasn't there been issues with diesel not being able to pass emissions and such tests in the U.S., so they release them in other countries? If so that makes more sense to me, but still dumb that we won't have access to what could be a wonderful tribute to a wonderful truck.
You can thank both Kalifornistan and stricter statutes in the US in other counties but at the same time I seem to loosely recall hearing our diesel fuel is dirty compared to other countries to start with possibly due to our processing policies? I'll have to go back and see if i can find out where that thought comes from.
