Undrstm8ed, you have stirred great memories in me. I started out sliding around in my dad's 66 Mustang. That was one tail happy pony! The old Volvo 240 wagon slid around corners very nicely and was easy to control with 4 snows on it. With the kids in the car we "drifted" every corner in the neighborhood and up into the driveway. So much fun! My son would laugh his head off while my wife called me nasty names. My daughter, well she was along for the ride. Her head was full of horses at that time. She is a truck gal now. Of course when he bought his own car he, too, started doing it. The driveway was a bit rough on his car as there was a pine tree waiting to stop errant vehicles. His was often errant. One thing he didn't understand was his Escort was FWD and the Volvo was RWD. I told him to use the E-brake and not the accelerator. That was the key to a successful driveway entrance. He has no interest in autos now and lives in a big city so owning one is more cumbersome than advantageous.
