Bought that same stuff for my M1. Seems to be good stuff. I'm wishing right now that I was a hunter, because that 30-06 is compelling me to be one. Taking a buck down with the old war horse just sounds awesome.

I've made a new acquisition, today. I bought my first scope. A Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 for rimfire guns. Bought it with the intention of putting it on my Henry lever action, which is my favorite levergun to shoot as of writing. Only problem is, I can't find dovetail rings that are .600 high.

I did find a dovetail to weaver adapter and a set of suitable rings accordingly, but I'm going to try and hold out for true dovetail rings. I won't be heartbroken if I can't find any, but i'd prefer that.

Loving the scope though. Even if I can't get it to work on the Henry, I'm not getting rid of it. I'll figure something out....

Also, I made a gunbroker account for the next gun I plan on buying. Feel free to take guesses at what that might be.
