I know of 2 serious accidents I would have endured if I didn't know what to expect when the tires no longer were gripping. Amen to that.. I would assume that the introduction to cars all started with me not only being in the auto industry but the weekly runs to the grocery store (Meijers) and each boy got to pick out a Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars. Who would have thunk a $ .98 obsession would grow to what it is. All of my boys (3) are into cars but my oldest decided to follow my own footsteps of tracking cars and working on them. It also didnt help raising them all on Playstation and 4 out of the 5 versions of Grand Tourismo, Driver, among other console titles. Although he hasnt done the power slide in front of the house or up the drive. He has had several issues regarding the usual Turn arounds in Michigan in a power slide drifting through the green and yellow lights and you'd think.. now twice of not noticing the cop sitting in the crowd of cars waiting for the light that your time to show off and have a testicular dumb moment may not be a great thing to do while driving for work, your modded Miata, loaded with customers pizzas... [SMH] Sometimes I wanna cuff him in the back of the head for just not thinking all the time. Outside of that, hes a great young man but I guess sometimes you do have to let them make some mistakes so they actually learn something. Can't always protect them by sharing experience. .
