CVT's have had an image issue in the US as drivers here want to 'feel' the shift.

I didn't know they were going to use the 10 for the new Ranger, I know the F150 and the Mustang get it.

I had also thought that Ford was getting over the concept of vehicles only being available in certain markets with their 'world vehicle' concept of only making one version of each model. Damn. But it's not like I was going to buy one, just might have liked the option to if I wanted...
