A buddy of mine has a next door neighbor that has a '78 F250 XLT Supercab with a 400M, Camper package, and a granny gear 4 speed. He had a stroke 2 years ago and no longer drives. I have had a standing offer but he does not want to sell it.

I had a '78 F-100 XLT 4x4 with the 400M and granny gear transmission. It was a strong truck after a cam change, 4 barrel intake, 750CFM Holly, and headers got it up to about 300 HP. It almost doubled the HP as the stock configuration was about 170HP.
