I must confess, I stole it from a buddy's blog. He posted it the day before 410's post. I made sure both my kids could drive a standard shift and could change a tire before I let them dive by themselves (both millennials). I have a '74 Stingray with a 4 speed Rockcrusher that they learned on - starting off in first was easy with the .410 posi rear end. You could almost dump the clutch and not stall it. My daughter would always chirp the 1st to 2nd shift.
