17's alone should fit, it's the width that'll cause problems, 17x8 or 9, depending on offset as well. As for tire size, I use a tire size calculator on Google. I type in the current size I have (235/75r15s) and then go to tirerack.com and look at what tires they have for 17's, then go and type in tire sizes to compare to my 235's and see what tires have the same height. I believe mine would be 275/55r17s.

Just remember to put your current tire size as the first one (size 1: Mine is the 235 and I want the 275 (size 2)) then the tire you're comparing as the second. Again, keep in mind your offset and wheel width. Let's us know what you end up deciding.
