I rented an '18 Mustang last month. Not quite the same- it was an Ecoboost ragtop, with the ten-speed auto. Nice car- I put 1200 miles on it in a week, and it didn't move for three days. I want one.

My only hangups would be that I do like to have a back seat in which I can carry adults, and climbing out of the Mustang can be a nuisance, with as low-slung as it is and the length of the doors.

But if neither of these presents a problem for you and your intended uses...I really want a newer Mustang.
