Option c) needs to be added to the list. This option focuses not at all on the caliber nor the type of ammo being used but rather, the psychology of what is happening in the mind of the person being shot at, even if he's not hit/dead (yet). The "OMG I AM BEING SHOT AT, I COULD DIE!!!" goes a long ways and invokes some very deep thought in most anyones mind when it comes to continued misbehaving. Edit: John Hinckley shot former President Reagan with a .22 and that shot messed the man up realllll good.
