I watched a video of a ranger with dual exhaust that didnt have a crossover or H pipe. The exhaust would switch sides. It looked really awful. I ran a H pipe with cutouts on my old cars do that's what I'm familiar with . I read there is another method that is. Similar and often used on rangers but I forget what its called. I'll look into the set up you described
