Well I feel it could pass with a 5.0 depending on what state your in . Here in Texas we have emissions 24 or newer in the major city's (Austin , San Antonio, Houston , Dallas and El Paso areas . I was a state inspector for 8 yrs and with that . They only thing our emission computers are lookin for 96- up ob2 is for codes for cel and readiness status on the monitors. Usually a tune can take care of that if there's certain codes like me and the evap codes I throw for tank pressure , etc . My truck was a pre obd2 chassis that is wired now to obd2 . I can read ,graph and datalog on my scanner on the stock Ecu . Granted I'm a 94 and only have to do tailpipe gas inspection which was my last year this year . 95 and older only get gas tested til they hit 25 years old . Then they're safety only no emissions . Tail pipe testing is actually stopping in the next year or so also cause 96 up is computer inspected. So with all that long statement said lol find out exactly what your guidelines are for your emissions in your county/state . California has some of the strictest guide lines and would be one of those where I would say probably not and would have to swap like 410 said above . Other states I'm not currently up to date on their emissions
