The bolt pattern is the same for small block Windsor and 4.2L V6. The V6 used metric hardware to the block, so the holes in the V6 bellhousing need to be drilled out slightly to allow the larger V8 bolts to pass through. This is a quick and easy job. The two alignment pins are the same size on both so no mods needed there.
