I paid $80 for the OBDLink MX; there are alternative cheapo ELM327 adapters on ebay that may or may not work.

You might troll online and find it cheapervia a promo, etc etc.
Can the app run at the same time your runnin bt radio and pandora?
Mine sure does exactly this, no conflicts or problems of any kind.
