Outside of responses, Some time ago the torsion bar, due to a design character flaw of foresight from the manufacture after 20 years decided to snap and give up. So, I've used the topper a multitude of times without the use of the actual tent feature. Since they're [Flip-pac] are no longer in business parts are difficult to find without DIY creativity or just knowing who does what and where to find it.

The guys over at Sway-A-way just happen to be a resource for replacement torsion bars and with a better design implemented as well. So end of the week in preparation for some much needed trail camping time with the lil woman, I will be ordering the replacement torsion bar and putting the tent back into business as usual.

Then this fall.. the Flip-pac will be removed for some new things to be done and in preparation for some changes for this truck and... maybe "Truck Documentary II"
