I really like the switches. I thought you were just using the frame off the purple one?
Thanks.. they're a bit dated but, the function and work around they provided came in handy.
And correct.. the "diamond in the rough" reference was towards the original truck. lol
The sole purpose for the truck was exactly the frame, the bonus was the way better interior to play with although the dash bezel on the stepped portion where i currently have my switches is a bit... well lets just say I'll be looking for a new(er) one. But the dash.. I cant wait to swap it out.

The dash is near perfect, no blemishes or cracks. The passenger side tray, those are shadows from crap on the windshield..
The rest of the truck as I picked it up; I'll likely only use the bed at the end to make a matching trailer from the old 2WD frame. In fact, come this fall or winter, that'll become a build of its own and documented as I go through it. That is simply gonna be a bad ass trail accessory as the reality of putting a bunch of long term ideas to work finally and I think it will be another interesting followed topic.
The cab will sadly get chopped up and scrapped, the passenger door, fender and maybe a few misc pieces will get sold or some misc bolts and screws if people need them may get donated. The gray visors are in decent to good shape but the headliner is marginal at this point. I just want to get down to the frame asap.
The eventual plans will be in place and have to be done before May of 2020, and that's just this truck at a certain level, and hopefully the trailer too. The next step will be the Cummins 4BT swap which I'll go through and give myself a year to complete, maybe 2 IF I can't get it done in time tearing it down from bare block and fully resto it to zero miles. Its gonna happen.. lol
