Years ago,probably around 2,000 I bought an old style metal 5 gallon can that had 2 screw on caps,1 had a rubber hose attached and it shortly broke off so I had to start using a funnel. I also bought a plastic 2 1/2 gallon can that has a spout on 1 side and a small screw off vent cap on the other. I finally got tired of the metal can since I had to use a funnel and bought a 5 gallon plastic can that doesn't have a vent. I agree,they suck. I still have the 2 1/2 gallon can with the vent though and use it a lot. Too bad they don't make 5 gallon cans that way.
