I also have rotten boots. Have been trying to source replacements. Let me know if you find them and I will do likewise. There are boots on EBay but what size. I believe upper and lower are different sizes also
If it is torn it is probably worn. If it is squeaking would be wise to replace the entire ball joint and not just the boot. If you were slinging a wrench elsewhere and nipped the boot accidentally then replacing the boot is OK.
