Try to guess who wrote these responses: When you changed the brake lines to stainless it made a difference in pedal feel and braking? We'll just add that to the list of nutty claims on Ford Ranger Forum. That is nonsense. Pull the dipstick out and check the fluid, if it looks normal, why waste money? Ambulance chasing lawyers make quite a bit of money off of stuff like this. You put a coil pack for a 4.0 on a 3.0 and thought it would work???? Some people are just too poor to do things the safe way. All is fine until something goes wrong and someone gets hurt. You can never fix stupid. All your questions have been answered satisfactory in the past, why complain? It's been 2 years since you asked for advice and you are just getting around to it? I thought I was bad at procrastinating. LOL As long as the seat belts were worn properly and the air bag deployed without throwing metal pieces, the Rangers are quite safe. Seems kind of strange that you claimed to run a auto repair business, among other things, but get your oil changed at a Walmart. It's Ford's f#ck up because the leading airbag supplier in the world screwed up and is on the hook for billions of $$$$$...?? That's a great idea......disconnect the ground from the engine block to the chassis. It should be against the law for someone with a double digit IQ to work on a vehicle. Another in the long line of WTF posts. I am hoping computersoc never puts a bump stock on his Ranger. LOL He is the only member who would need to ask how to use a cigarette lighter in his Ranger. You know you have no mechanical ability whatsoever so just take the truck to a shop and have them replace the exhaust instead of wasting everyone's time asking what parts to buy. I have read all of your posts and you are dumber than a rock. I don't know what kind of work you do but your company does get a tax credit for hiring mentally challenged people. 17 year old truck in the rust belt of NY......wtf do you expect??? I love this thread! I don't have the time to fix it myself but how can I fix it? It's only $73 shipped, buy it and be done. Plug it in and see what happens. Here is an incredible idea.......use a tool called a tape measure. Measure the tray length and width, then check out battery specs online or in a auto parts store until you find one that fits. There aren't any tire stores where you live? Computersoc PLEASE don't work on your own vehicle to avoid self inflicted bodily injury. Have a tire shop do the work. Sand the wheels down and paint them if you think market value on used wheels is beyond your means. I see you are still an a$$hole. Sorry you have to compensate for your small hands with oversized tires. I guess I will put you back on my "Ignore this fool" list. The engine was rated at 119 HP so you can't get blood from a turnip. It sounds like your mechanic is an idiot who just replaces parts. He obviously doesn't own a leak detector because that makes finding leaks very easy. Pulling the tranny for a front main oil seal, that's a new one for me. You can buy a parts truck or a rolling money pit for $1000. "Shown by appointment only" That's funny since it's a Ranger and not a 1970 Hemicuda. Two minor crashes? That is obviously Ford's fault. You are mad at Ford because you ordered the wrong rotors or the 1A's fitment chart was wrong? 4 months isn't squat. Disconnect the battery, roll up the windows and don't park under a dead tree. Seems a bunch of posters are making way too much out of this. What is a trotille hack? I'm sorry you have nothing better to do than make 14,000 posts in 4 years. You need a life kid. I think everyone should have a stalker like you. Have fun kid! I think he should tint the rear and side view mirrors too, being able to see at night is overrated. Fuel dumping into engine???? You need to be more descriptive with your question. I see you are still the forum expert at pandering to the "I need attention" posters. Getting rear ended explains the bad mood. I assume "Bug out" means paranoid, end of the world and hide in the woods nonsense. Since you are being silly, why not put a Boss 429 in it.
