2009 I switched only because I found that The MS Office Program ran better on the Apple than on the PC, and at the pushing from a friend went Apple.
JAMMAN, yes you are right on the Apple Symbol with a bite out of it, I assumed it always meant "The Tree of Knowledge, but for Good not Evil, but since I have owned the Apple and first hand saw how Apple will drop you once your machine is older than THEY want it to be, I have Soured on them, sort of a Granny Smith, but at this time I am in the Apple thing to far to drop out... and too old to go back to a new OS.
Didn't mean to imply anything about which was better but was more joking about my switching and although I am pissed at Apple I have had a lot of time in the free air with no viruses or Web attacks... ! Thank you God !
Good Luck on your fixing your problems, I will linger a little longer with Apple, not always the best deal in town but good enough !
