Windows 10, what's that...  LoL !
Since I have switched to Apple, 9 years ago, I don't remember all of the $hit I have gone through in the past with Window OS programs.

Although Apple OS can be a pain at times, it is so much more intuitive and so far has no viruses, knock on wood... using my head because it is the only wood I have handy !

I don't regret the Apple move, just having to upgrade your computer every five years or so that gets me...  how are the Window Computers for full upgrades to a newer computer ?

for the sake of conversation.. Apple has plenty of viruses available.. The reality of why its not on a near pandemic level as PC is because NOBODY uses Apple products in Commerce or Banking. Vista/Win7 has more extensive countermeasures against attacks and a codebase with presumably fewer security issues. But it's the operating system of the majority of users, hence making it profitable to attack. Attackers will therefore spend lots of time bypassing the countermeasures. Mac OS has fewer countermeasures and lots of easily exploitable bugs, but the market share is low, making it a less likely target.

November related to awareness of cybercrime in the U.S. The survey of more than 1,000 people found that while both PC and Mac users perceive the Mac as being safer, Mac users are victims of cybercrime just as frequently as PC users.

Meanwhile, Mac users are just as vulnerable to Web-based attacks like phishing as PC users are, and Mac users who fall prey to phishing tend to lose more money on average than PC users do, the survey found. "Viruses are a diminishing percentage of what we're seeing," said Randy Adams, director of technical education at ESET. "A lot of attacks have to do with social engineering and that kind of attack is platform agnostic."

And the funniest thing about apple products is there are people who will pay FULL POP and top price for a luxury based product line, and the majority of the products are designed to fail or need replacement within a couple of years at best or have to replace altogether. I'm sorry, but to pay $2500 for a laptop, be charged another $300-600 for additional components necessary for the operation, usage, or backwards compatibility. Lets not even get into poor design features like fans that blow all of the hot air across a portion of the chassis that uses a glue to secure a portion of the computer so after a couple years of use, the product separates. Or how about the chipsets that Apple chose to use and wouldnt warranty because the chipset was part of the initial operating system power feature. Apple had a test that required the computer having to be able to turn on first in order to fall under warranty. Well problem is the chip goes down, it can't turn on. So apple not only got out of probably a million dollars worth of warranty repairs, they most likely backed that up with sales of NEW units instead.. Nice business model and way of doing business.

Steve Jobs is/was a rather interesting individual whom should make you question who he might have been really. The guy marketed the first apple computer for $666.66 If not for superstitious reasons alone, why would you come up with that price point for your product? Call it what you will otherwise... It snowballs from there.

but don't let it get you down Jim..
