I had the clutch looked at this weekend and the mechanic asked the same question, CBB9M. The clutch grabs very positively. It catches at the half-way point in pedal travel, but there is little slip. The mechanic said that is just fine and I that I can let the pedal out slower with a little more pressure on the push pedal. I tried it this yesterday and it seems to be working.
