Like the switch setup... nice !

The LEDs are bright in the pictures, I use separate indicators, which need extra room, but you can add resistors to the LED Power to reduce the brightness some.
Just me... !

the Side Panel Mounting of the switched is a great idea, I never noticed the  step panels, worked out well !

Ok on "thinking about the Snorkel before modifying the truck", as much as I DID like the Snorkel I couldn't do the large hole needed !

Thanks for your comments, your ideas and the great modding !

Wow...

I had a huge informative answer and lost it with an accidental click of the mouse.. FML

So in short you get the short version. The built in indicators work for my single action needs. Although i can see the necessity for additional indicators for multiple position/function switches. The pattern and colors indicate position whether by feel or visually perfectly and keep it clean and simple. The LED's are all the same power, the blue just have more glare than other colors despite green and yellows being more sensitive to the human eyes. If I recall, we see yellow the fastest of all the color spectrums.

There is a total of 13 switches in the truck, nine of which are on the stepped panel, three hidden, and a single one yet to be plain view installed on the dash due to the complexity of the circuit with lighting and involvement with a 2nd switch mounted in the Flip-Pac that allows a single switch to throw on ALL of the lights at once for any purpose including to mimic a blinding scene out of "Close Encounters Of The 3rd Kind" - emergencies, campsite invasion by animals or other; from the cab or sleeping quarters without the key in the ignition. Its not complicated as it sounds, just time consuming. The other hidden switches are for other functions I won't go into, that's why they're hidden. ;)

As for the snorkel, its not for everyone as I stated before. Between 6-7 other forums - Ranger related or otherwise I have near 51K in views. I giggle thinking about how many people cringed or freaked out with a near 4" hole being drilled into the side of the truck. Cutting and drilling holes into a hunk of metal, plastic, rubber, and textiles has no effect on me. Some weirdos act as if you're dismembering or disfiguring a family member or pet of sorts... :crazy
