Are fulton armory M1 parts any good? Seems like my oprod spring is kinked. Great. Possibly related to a feeding issue I'm having, where the first round will get stuck and require the bolt being pulled back and ramming into it once or twice to get it to move further. The remaining seven cycle fine, by hand at least. Brand new clips, AEC 3 stamped, bought from sarco inc. Used 0000 steel wool to smooth the parkarizing a bit. Here's some photos of the oprod spring and a look inside when it's seized on round #1. Note that it doesn't sieze with the CMP issued clip. It doesn't have any markings on it. It doesn't appear the round is contacting the chamber or any part of the rifle. I see no copper or brass traces being left behind. The rifle has been cleaned and lubricated with plenty of grease.
