My brother in law has a co-worker that has some tires available super cheap. $50 for all 4. Lots of tread left so I figured if it works, it is a great thing!
I question everything.. So when I ask why LOTS of tread tires for REALLY cheap? I'm not trying to be insulting, i'm just curious as to why the last guy swapped them out less it be of course he picked them up and never used them, wife's nagging about garage real estate thats NONE of her business.. yada yada... etc.

And of course my following questions are before price even gets thrown into the calculations is; What are they? [Size we know] What did they come off of and why? Why so cheap?

Tires are the only thing that separates you and those you carry as passengers from a possible accident. Cheap and tires don't work for me, probably why I'm not an advocate of used tires despite twice in my life having to buy a pair not knowing better. I tend to look at in the respects of those who brag about buying cars at auctions. Spend 25+ years in the automotive business and you find out the reason why 90% of cars go to auction is because they couldn't sell anywhere else. Its called pass the buck - put the problem [liability] in some one else's hands.

Now I don't mean that maybe these are good tires, maybe the guy doesn't know what he has, could be BFG A/t's and you just scooped up the tire deal of the decade.. I don't know. I'm just sharing experiences and some opinions based upon perspective and my logical sense.

But all in all, yes they would work, will the ass-dyno tell the difference between 10mm wide and 1mm taller tire with 1-3 lbs in weight difference?

If so you have one sensitive but talented ass... you must use Charmin
