Hey Dustin, I found out from one of the more knowledgable members, that there is a way to stop the A/C Compressor from running when you don't want it to. There is a Purple Wire behind the HVAC Panel, you need to cut the wire and install a SPST Switch. I was told that it is an easy fix and worth while if looking for better MPGs ! I am going to attempt it on my 2003 Ranger soon and will post ups a How-To, but until I actually verify the info, I don't want to post more than here ! Post the Ford Museum Pictures !
