A 10mm is a different story. The first time I shot a 10 mm it was in a 1911 frame. Every shot felt like I had a knife hacking into my hand. It was a painful experience and I wanted no part of it.

Fast forward 20 or so years and I was at the range with a buddy. He handed me a full sized Glock and I thought it was a 45 +P or 45 Super load. No pain just a lot of recoil.

If I needed a heavy hitter I would get a Glock or XDS but I am content with my 45GAP.
