Spent a few years building up a 1984 Ranger for a friend of mine. Started off just wanting something to go to Yellowstone once a year....4 years later and after deciding he 4.0 didnt make enough power we ended up with this. Darth Ranger the "fishing truck" 302 V8 makes 340 HP, built 4r70w, NP205 twin stick, 4wheel discs, D35 ttb, 31 spline 8.8, and custom bumper to bumper. The 98 bed/shell is a camper conversion with storage and sleeping platform, drop down dvd and silk lines flyrod holders. Batwing awning for shade next to the river, custom everything, rock lights, front and rear camera's, dual batteries, and more. We built this thing to get 15-18 mpg on the highway, small lift to stay streetable but still tackle the trails. This is our Ranger "overland" build. This truck took over my life for like 4 years, it was worth it! Rangers are awesome! ![]()
