I can assure you it did not cost us $10000 to build this truck in fact I have less then $3k invested (on the books). I don't mind posting that here or telling potential owners because this truck is not for somebody who can build one it's for somebody who wants a built one. I have built many trucks for people who want but can't do, maybe they don't have the time, maybe they just don't know how... that's where we come in. Saving people from getting screwed by dishonest shops and dealers...doing things the RIGHT WAY and for a fair price. I scratched and clawed my way to get here 5.0 explorers and lower mile 98+ rangers are getting much much harder to find trust me. Once I showed the early bronco guys in Colorado that the explorer engine is a good fit after a year or so all the gt40 explorers started to go quickly. This ranger was built for a purist, someone like myself who knows what they are looking at somebody who needs a ranger to be reliable and bomb proof for years of service, it does not hurt to have it look sporty and updated. If you look at the Spokane craigslist or the inland northwest you will see ranger prices are up there some 99's with under 200k are going for $5-8k un modified! I know my market and my target price I am in no rush to sell this truck as I have 3 other rangers being built and a couple explorers so we will hit several price brackets. This ranger is worth every penny, time will tell! Oh and I still have the 07 and the 05'to strip down Have been buying trucks all spring, dragging them to the shop through the snow and mud and getting things going here in Idaho! Did I mention our new shop is 100% off grid? The sun charges my Dewalt impact, Father and Son building customs off the grid 30 miles from Canadian border....years and years of dedication to the RVB to get here I hear you guys believe me The 2019 ranger is here the 2020 bronco is coming Rangers early broncos and 7.3 trucks are going up in value Believe it or not in some parts of the country even the Bii has a small following and their prices are starting to go up too! All the while our supply of explorer donors are dwindling. This 99 will be here when the right buyer comes along Here in rural America people are still depending on their 80's Rangers to get them to work, I have never seen so many well kept 80's and 90's Fords... I know I am now Home. Pics with the rear bumper hung will be posted as soon as the clear coat is dry More pics coming 1940 Ford, 97 Ex wiring harness stripped down to the essentials for running and everything tucked into drivers kick panel My old 96, E303 cam, roller rockers, TM headers, 01 dark interior, 4.10's, 4406, I loved that truck! Sold it so I could get snow tracks for my rzr 1984 Ranger "Darth Ranger" the fishing truck Wifes FJ My old Premier ![]() ![]() Here's a Mazda B5000 we helped a friend in Denver with before we moved. This sucker is AWD and built for Ice racing....not much ice in CO in 2017 so he did some rally cross Last edited on Thu May 3rd, 2018 12:42 pm by 410customs ____________________ I build custom RBV, specializing in drivetrain conversions, wiring, suspension and complete custom trucks |
