Just finished my Son's 01 Supercab XLT, all power & bells & whistles, used 98 Expo doner, with NEW aftermarket wheels & tires, total investment $4500.....so double + that IMO is CRAZY!
My Lil' Thurderbolts only has $2800 invested in it!
Just sayin..........it can be done for lot less!
Pricey though it may be, you have to give credit for the transfer case part and several other little bullet points. Each one ads a little bit of personality.
Both of you are of an elite group IMO, along with several other members here I have invited through one channel or another.... people who get a rush from putting large motors in small vehicles they were not originally intended for. I share the same passion for this and will definitely finish my project this year. I just wish I had started with a 4WD like my daily driver because I already have more invested in mine than you do Mr. Thunderbolt!
