I have. I've always been skeptical of 'one size fits all', 'universal', etc designs. In my experience, this claim is often exaggerated, if not an outright lie.

Just so there are no misunderstandings, I'm not calling these guys liars. I believe their product does as it is intended, but I also believe it has it's limits. I'm sure somewhere out there, there is a load that this fails to tame. Every product has it's limits, naturally.

The Shuster also has it's limits as well, but I firmly believe it has the advantage as it can be tuned to a specific rifle and a specific lot of ammunition. I suspect this ability would shine most in a competition shooter's hands.

I would also be leery of it's performance in cold climates, where gasses aren't as potent as they are in warmer weather.

The biggest flaw though in the garandgear plug that I see is it's incompatibility with the M1's bayonet. Like, seriously? I like the idea of using a quarter inch ratchet to remove and install it, but that seldom used feature isn't worth giving up the ability to use the bayonet; which I happen to own one and intend to use it.

I'm not gonna kick your teeth in for liking it, but in my eyes the shuster is the better design.

Oh, and this also convinced me.
