I got a bag of 20 M1 enbloc clips (feels wrong actually calling something a clip) in the mail today. Sent out my mail order form for the CMP on saturday. I should be getting the M1 within the next month or so.

I may get a Boyds stock set for it and keep the original elsewhere. Definately getting a shuster gas plug for it. Is there any brand of 30-06 they like to run through theirs? I'm looking at Prvi Partizan brass cased soft point.

I find it odd that there's basically no standard FMJ for 30-06 that I Can find. There's WPA (never putting steel in my M1), but even that's a hollowpoint. Doesn't bother me, but I find it strange.
