My 2011 Sport 4x4 has the traction control light on. I noticed it once or twice while making a left turn but it would blink on like I broke traction and go back off. Now it's on steadily. Since I originally noticed it while turning I assumed it was a sensor issue in the front. Are there specific traction control sensors or does it use the ABS sensor? I pulled the front two ABS sensors and cleaned/greased them but they seemed fine. AFterwards, the light is still on. I have not inspected the rear ones yet. What reasons would my TC light come on? Just to clarify, the '11 has a traction control button to turn on/off the TC. That is a completely different light on the dash than the light I'm talking about. The truck thinks one of the tires broke loose and is letting me know that. Since it shows this light in 2wd, I'm now thinking it's a rear sensor. I've read about TC sensors in the rear diff as well as the normal ABS sensor in the hubs. Where and what do I inspect? Any help is appreciated.
