I have snipers in my unit but the AF did away with the CPEC course. Now it's an AF only Advanced Marksman course. I hear its not quite the same. For now, they have the heavy barreled Rem 700. They're supposed to be getting in some new weapons along with the new Sig that's replacing the Beretta M9. We don't have the .50s here, just the mounted full auto .50 M2. Along with the M240 7.62 and M249 5.56.

I cant knock my Remington 783. Tons of people hate on them and say its a wannabe 700. They're not completely wrong, but it's not a POS either. If I had better glass and maybe some long distance training I'm sure I could reach out further than 500 yards accurately.
