Jamman, I chased a squeak for a few months. I ended up replacing idler pulley, tensioner, and swapped the relatively new Dayco belt for a Gatorback belt and still had the squeak. It ended up being the bearing in the alternator. I found it with an engine stethoscope in 20 degree weather.

Mine would only squeak when it was below 40 degrees and was dead cold during the first 10 minutes of driving. It was also engine speed related.
