If it EVER gets warm, my first task it to drop a 4.0 OHV from a 99 expo in to a 98 Ranger XLT born with a 4.0 OHV

Staring at both of these for a while they seem completely identical.

Going 99 to 98 should I use the ECU from the expo or leave the ranger one in there? My first thought is it will be OK with the ranger ECU. Anyone had to deal with this before?
