Anyone own a Ruger mini 14? I think it'd be a fun little gun and not to expensive to shoot either.

The mini 30 would be nice but for my purposes for it, .223 would be just fine. I don't need it in 7.62.

I've got 1 but they're not sniper rifles,to get them to shoot 2moa sometimes takes some accurizing, escpecially in the older models.  From what I'm gathering from some Mini 14 sites I go to a lot of the newer ones will shoot 2moa without any accurizing but you may still need to do some experimenting with different ammo because some of them can be picky about what they shoot good. I've got a newer model myself but still had to install an Accustrut to get the groups down at 100 yards enough to even think about taking it coyote hunting and it still could be better,so I'm planning on installing an adjustable gas block too. That will also help keep it from flinging brass 30 ft.
