As buggman, Scrambler82, & I have stated before in this thread, get one of buggman's harness kits & install it. It comes with a relay & a factory switch, get a radio trim panel from a Ranger in the JY that had the factory fog lights & install it in your truck with the buggman switch & it will look factory. Easiest way by far.
AND... the The Buggman's Harness will probably cost you less than a JY Harness !
And Buggman has stated you can even have him change the color of the LED in the Switch, so when the lights are on you can see whatever color you want !
One more last point... I have owned Rangers for... well longer than I want to remember, and I have one rule of thumb I use the fooling around with my electrical projects, ALWAYS, "Do not cut into the OEM Harness" !
If some thing goes wrong with the running of the truck or the body harness then you already know it is a stock harness and by-far easier to diagnose or if you screw up the lighting harness, at least the truck will still run.
I'm just trying to make you see the easiest path !
I lied a little above, I did cut into the directional harness to turn my High Bed Lights into Directionals... but the wiring was right there under the driver's seat, probed out and was an easy project !
