The a/c registers seem to be loose on it though so that's a setback. I even attempted to get the factory fog light wiring harness since the engine was out of the way but it proved too difficult. One other question is. Where is everyone running the wiring kit through the firewall to get to the switch? Obviously it will have to go through the firewall but is there a hole in the firewall that can already be used or do you have to make one? Just waiting on how to order the wiring kit and hopefully it will all work out. Sound good finding the truck in the JY ! I don't fully understand the removal of the OEM Harness, usually it's the hangers that hold things up but a good set of side cutters and a screw driver make removal of things in tight places a little easier. Ford did have a problem with using too much tape on the hangers too ! To me... if you want to use the OEM Switch, you will need The Buggman's Harness and some extra wires, sized for the wattage of the bulbs to connect things together. As far as running wiring through the Firewall, what I do is start on the drivers side, look for any rubber bushings, try probing the with a non sharp tool, and see if you can go through easy, then snake a wire or two through. Look where other wires go through, sometimes there is room for more. Don't go though a bushing or rubber boot that had moving parts going through it, may cause a shorted wire. I have not heard of anyone drilling holes, so there has to be a way through. If you do chose to drill a new hole, first make sure there is nothing on the inside or outside or in-between where there is a wire of a moving part, and always use a grommet to prevent cut or chafed wires. As I always say, take your time ! I found running wiring in a Ranger is more taking your time and double checking what is on the other side of where you are drilling ! Good Luck... !
