This is a known problem on the 4.0 OHV engines.  A very small leak can develop in the intake gasket which allows a tiny amount of coolant to be drawn into the intake runner. This is just enough to cause a misfire but not enough to show up as a noticeable coolant loss from the reservoir. An indicator is a very different plug reading on the affected cylinder, most commonly seen on cylinder #4. Could also be cracked head as noted above but this is worth checking too.
