I was working 50 to 60 hours per week and would work 6 days a week so I usually had only 1 down day. There is not much to do on a Sunday in Paso except to go to the various wineries and do their wine tasting. Prior to that I judged good wine as the ones that came in a bottle that had a cork.

I had rented a furnished efficiency above a garage. The lady that owned the house was a vintner at one of the vineyards. Between her and her list of the various wineries with who to talk to and which wines I needed to get info on I got brought up to speed quickly.
