I finally go around to working on the AR-9. I decided it needed a full cleaning in addition to replacing the charging handle. This is the first deep clean and it has just over 1100 rounds through it. Since it is a blow-back design it runs very dirty.

I pulled the drop in trigger out and ran cleaning solution through it until it ran clean. There was a lot of gunk that came out. When I was putting it back together I somehow misplaced one of the pin screws for the trigger. After 2 hours of cleaning and looking for it I finished putting the gun back together.

I have a new trigger that I can rob parts from but I will need to replace them eventually. I shot off an email to the manufacturer to see if they would provide the size so I could source it locally.
