ACOGs are very durable. I had one on my Bushmaster but I found the 4x was not enough scope. I dropped a 3-9x50 wideview on it and was much happier with it.

I sold the ACOG to finance my AR9. Hindsight is 20/20. The ACOG would have been perfect for the AR9 pistol.
