At these levels LED's generate plenty of heat. They come with heat sinks on them, so that should tell you something. Also keep in mind that the plug and play LED's will not give you superior performance, just like PNP HID's they will produce beam patterns with out projectors. The FX-R's that I am running in my headlight are bigger than the DS2;s and I didn't cut anything on the radiator support. They do take a lot more to mount in the headlight though.
