I'll 3X that..
If you don't use it often enough, much like the E-brake cable sticking because you dont feel a need to use it, you just need to use it every so often otherwise things create issues.
No I don't use it much,have only had it 4 years and the last few winters we haven't had enough snow to really need it. I've never had trouble before until this past winter. I used it a couple of times playing around in the yard and that's when it started. I'll take if off and tear it apart and check it out. I've found rebuild instructions on another board that sounds easy enough.
