On my 1994 XLT 4x4 it acts like the 4x4 stays on after I turn it off. I have to turn it on and off 2 or 3 times to finally get it to disengage. Where can I find a good diagnosis manual to use that tells how to diagnose it,all I've found are ones that tell how to change parts? I found 1 for the 1999,could I use it or are the specs on the components different? What areas are more likely the cause, the switch,GEM or motor on the transfer case? Thanks for any help.
