 Valvoline Maxlife high mileage 5w-30 with Motorcraft FL400S filter.  Change the oil at around 5k miles.  I had the oil tested and it could go longer easily.  I might try a 6500 interval and then get it analyzed and see what the numbers look like.  Might as well list the cars:


Subaru STi:  5w-40 Motul with OEM Subaru filter: 3000k intervals or yearly which ever comes first.

Toyota Solara: 5w-30 Valvoline Maxlife with Motorcraft FL400S filter (same filter as ranger!  w00t): 5000k intervals

Mercedes w211:  0w-20 Mobil1 European with Mann filter cartridge: 10,000k intervals or yearly, which ever comes first.

Lexus NX: I believe it's also 0w-20.  But the vehicle is new and the dealer does oil changes for the next two years.
