With changes in the cam profile made it a great motor for a truck but was also the high performance, high reving engine in the Thunderbird. The beauty of the FE was the heads as they flowed better than the GT40 heads and ran from 332 CI to 428 CI. Could be right on the 352, and didn't know that about the heads. The 429 SCJ, never had one but have heard they were great motors, BIG head anyway. Of course then there was the Boss 429, never heard much about that ones performance but they called it a Boss. I always thought a Boss 429 would be good in a '32 high boy !
